Thank You Ideas
Dear Mrs. Brown,
Where do I begin? Probably before the school year even started, I heard such nice things about you. Based on popular opinion, I expected great things this year-- and I have not been disappointed. Trevor always has positive things to say about your class, from your animated storytelling to your funny dog stories to your kindness on the playground. It's comforting to know that not only is Trevor getting a great education, but he is happy at school as well.
Thank you for all your hard work. I truly appreciate it.
P.S. It would mean a great deal to me if you joined me in Thank You Forward. Thank three incredible people in your own life. www.thankyouforward.org
Dear Miss Jennifer,
My husband and I are so happy that Luke is enjoying preschool, you have no idea. It's not easy to send your first child to school but seeing what a ball Luke is having makes it a breeze. And we know we have you to thank for that. The activities you plan, the room you decorate, the friendships you help foster-- it's all incredible, and it's helping our son (and us!) believe that school is fun, which is incredibly important.
Thanks for everything!
P.S. Help me spread cheer to others this holiday season by thanking incredible people in your own life. www.thankyouforward.org
Dear Mrs. Knight,
Thank you for all your hard work this year. Britt loves school and it's easy to see why. We hear all about the dynamic way you deliver lessons and encourage participation and are pleased that our daughter is learning so much.
Enjoy the rest of the school year. You're doing a fantastic job!

Dear Mr. Cyr,
We feel so lucky to have gotten you as a teacher this year. Abby loved your class from the start and never grew bored. You helped her get organized, motivated, and above all, interested in learning, which is no small feat. The whole family thanks you!
Have a great vacation. You deserve it!

Thank You to School and Office Administrators
Dear Mrs. Taylor,
What would we do without you? Who else has the patience to deal with miscellaneous people passing in and out of their workspace all day and hundreds of random requests? We are very lucky to have you in our school office. We hope you know how much we appreciate your hard work!
Best wishes from us all.

Thank You Teacher: Help with Special Needs
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate everything you've done to help Ellie improve her auditory processing. She's gone from having her Kindergarten and first-grade teachers comment on her lack of focus in class to being a confident second-grader whose teacher hasn't seen her lose focus once. It's truly a tribute to both her and your efforts-- she definitely couldn't have done it without you.
You've helped build the foundation for improved academic achievement, focus and social interactions. The impact of your help is so significant. It will help her for the rest of her life. I truly can't thank you enough and will be forever grateful.
I'm sorry that our sessions are coming to end because we'll definitely miss seeing you. I wish you well in your new endeavors teaching second and third grade and hope that we'll keep in touch.
Dear Mr. Singer, We just wanted to thank you for your patience this year. We know Jason isn't an easy child to manage and recognize the time you've spent working with him. It would be easier for you to label him a troublemaker and walk away but instead you deal with issues as they arise directly and fairly, and we appreciate that. We're thankful that there are teachers like you in our system. Jason will thank you one day himself, we are sure of it.
P.S. I cannot thank you enough! www.thankyouforward.org
I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your lending me the real estate book. It was especially generous of you to let me have it when you needed it just as much as I did. Your thoughtful gesture really means a lot to me.
Thank you for giving me the chance to succeed on this test!

Thank You for Support While in School
Dear Family and Friends,
I reached my goal of becoming a teacher this summer and I'm excited and proud, but I realize I couldn't have done it without all of you. I want to thank each of you for your support and patience while I was in school. I know it was not easy but I hope you know how much I appreciated it. It's because of you that I was able to graduate.
Special thanks to Scott who motivated me to start (and finish!) and who provided the finances. Also special thanks to my mom for watching Cooper; it was such a comfort knowing he was well taken care of, which let me focus on my studies.
Thank you also to my sister, cousins, boss, friends, and school staff who pitched in countless times along the way. I will never forget your help!
Thank You Note to Interior Decorator
As I write this note, I'm admiring the beautifully decorated room around me. I couldn't be happier with the work you've done here. I appreciate the time you took to listen to what I wanted, add your own expertise, and pull together the finished product. The end result is just what I'd hoped it would be!
Thank you for all you've done. I won't hesitate to recommend you to my friends.
Thank You Note to a Surgeon or Doctor
Dear Dr. Wade,
Thank you for your tremendous skill in performing my wrist operation. Your talent and caring manner is a credit to the medical profession. You are truly a lifesaver.
Thank you, again.
Dr. Lawrason, Thank you for taking the time to explain to me about Cadence’s surgery. Your patience and understanding before and after the operation, in addition to your tremendous skill in the operating room, is greatly appreciated. I cannot thank you enough. Dr. Leistikow, Thank you for your skill and kindness before, during and following Louise’s surgery. Although the result is not what we had hoped, I take comfort in knowing that her life was in your skillful and talented hands. You are a credit to the medical profession, and I thank you, again.
Trading Schedules at the Last Minute
Thank you for trading shifts with me last night. Even though you said it was not a problem, you still deserve to know that the favor is truly appreciated. You are a life saver. Thanks again.
Dear Coach, Thank you for changing my life. The wisdom, confidence and heart you have shown while leading our team has been an inspiration on and off the field. Your influence on my life is immeasurable. The breadth of the skills and lessons you have taught will be amplified over my lifetime. Thanks again.
Thank you for being a great coach. Your presence and guidance in my life eternally holds a place in my heart as an athlete and a person. For this and so much more, thanks coach.
Thank you so much for house sitting for me. It means a lot that you took time out of your busy schedule. It is truly appreciated. Thanks again!
I don't really know how to say thank you for house sitting for me! Knowing you were watching the house made it easy not to worry while I was away. Thanks again!
Thank you for taking the time to pet sit. Ollie really enjoys your company, and a loving friend is so much better than a kennel. Thank you.
I know I've told you this already, but there's just something about a thank you note that really says, thank you!! It was so kind of you to pet sit for me. Knowing that Buddy was with you really helped me to be able to relax while I was away! Thanks again!
